Anointing of the Sick
Illness and suffering have always been among the gravest problems confronted in human life. In illness, man experiences his powerlessness, his limitations, and his finitude. Every illness can make us glimpse death...very often illness provokes a search for God and a return to him." (see Catechism of the Catholic Church 1500-1501)
In the Sacrament of the Anointing of the Sick and the prayer of the priests, the whole Church gives those who are sick to the Lord for healing. It also empowers the person to offer up their own suffering to be united to the Passion and death of Christ, who can help, heal, and save.
If you or one of your family would like to receive the Anointing of the Sick, please call the parish office to make an appointment.
Check the Parish calendar for the dates when the Sacrament of Anointing for the Sick will be administered during the 7:15am Mass.
