We meet the 1st Friday of the month from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm in Ludescher Hall in the church basement. Come whatever hours you can and bring something to share for potluck lunch.
Quilting experience is not necessary but basic machine sewing skills are helpful. If you have a portable sewing machine we would appreciate it if you would bring it along. Please bring your basic sewing supplies, scissors, pins and needles. If you use a rotary cutter, mat and ruler please bring them also. If you are a non-sewer we could use your help by tying the completed quilt tops.
This is a good way to socialize with and meet other parishioners while doing something for others. Sharing your talents will help provide comfort to a child in need. If you have any questions please call the parish office.
Quilters for a cause can use donations of 100% cottons.
Periodically we have sewing machines that need a good cleaning and a little repair work. We are looking for a parishioner (or friend or relative of a parishioner) that has knowledge of sewing machine repair that can give our machines a little attention and loving care.
